"Hi, I’m Stephen—a test prep tutor for 5th through 8th graders with nearly 14 years of experience.

I grew up in Chicago, IL and attended Walter Payton College Prep. I went on to earn my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Marketing concentration, Psychology minor) from the Illinois Institute of Technology.

I started teaching classes and tutoring privately while working for a test prep company— and I’ve been tutoring ever since!

I can help you or your child with most elementary school subjects. While I’ve primarily focused on math, I’ve also helped kids learn to read, prepare for the Constitution test, and even explore creative writing. The youngest students I’ve worked with were just 8 years old!

My teaching style is laid-back and easygoing. I like to keep sessions fun and engaging, but also productive. I consider myself a winner, and I want my students to feel the same way!
