I have a B.A. in English from Duke University. I taught middle school reading & Language Arts for several years. I created my own curriculum, and my students focused on writing well-developed essays and short stories. I also helped students prepare for admission to private high schools, take the ISEE test, and write their high school essays.

Now for something a little bit more different! Despite my background in teaching, I currently work as a software engineer! One of my favorite things about tutoring is encouraging students who gravitate towards math and science subjects to hone their writing and communication skills.
