"Hello! I have been tutoring students from Kindergarten through College for about eight years now. I believe learning is a life long journey, and I'm always seeking out new information and new subject matter as well reinforcing my own skill set. I have a BA in visual arts from UC San Diego and an MFA in Motion Pictures and Television from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. In addition to the world of media I am passionate about history (my undergraduate minor was in Anthropology), math and all things related to English (grammar, vocabulary, literature, etc...).

I enjoy helping others improve their own skills or overcome obstacles with subjects difficult to them. Students developing confidence in their own capabilities is a very rewarding experience.

I understand that math does not click for everyone. I try to think about math and teach math in a variety of ways to find what works for you. I think it is important to bring mathematical concepts to a level that works for each student depending on their preferred learning style.
