My name is Erica, and I've been teaching maths for about 25 years, mostly in Massachusetts, but also in a number of international schools, so that I am familiar with AP and IB curricula alike. I've taught students who struggle with beginning algebra and geometry concepts, as well as strong students taking with calculus and statistics, as they prepare for AP and IB exams alike. In the IB curriculum, I've taught MYP and all levels of DP maths; and in the AP curriculum, I've taught Calculus AB, BC, and AP Statistics. My students have always scored extremely well (the average of all my students' AP scores over the years is around a 4.8 out of 5).

My greatest satisfaction is from working with a student like you one on one, having the time to answer your questions, and taking a few minutes to find out how your day (or week) has been going. My number one goal is to make math seem intuitive to you. With the right person (me), and with some time, there is no math concept (at least those taught at the high school or DP level) that can't make sense! I am completely qualified to do anything from help you with your homework, to give you a set of problems that will help you prepare for a test you have coming up in a few days.
