I am Zulema! I graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Integrative Biology and a double minor in Education and Science and Math Education. I also have a Biology Teachers credential and have been teaching high school students for the past 10 years. I currently teach Biology, Physics and Chemistry and have previously taught Anatomy, Integrative Science and Earth Science. In addition, I have written curriculum, lesson plans, and exams. I can help you master challenging concepts and achieve strong results in your coursework.

I believe two things are essential when learning a new concept. First, building a strong tutor-student relationship. It is important for students to feel comfortable asking questions to truly understand the material. There is no such thing as a "dumb question". Second, I focus on teaching material in a way that makes sense. Not just through abstract textbook explanations but through real-world application.
