"My name is Syntoria. I'm a graduate of Florida State College in Jacksonville, majoring in B.Sc. Biochemistry. Throughout my education, I have experienced and appreciated various learning approaches, including student-centered learning. One of the most notable aspect I have grasped is that the subjects students come to eventually love are determined by their tutors. The teaching approaches, more especially those promoting optimal student engagement and involvement in the learning processes matter the most. Despite aspiring to be a professional teacher, I fell in love with Biochemistry because of my tutors. For instance, Mr. Johnson was a dedicated Biochemist, explaining complex concepts in simple terms, easy to grasp. I always admired him, and since then, I have dedicated my life to teaching young learners various subjects including Biochemistry.

Since I graduated, I have had a privilege of tutoring various high school, college and adult students, something that has significantly enhanced my teaching abilities. While teaching in Terry Parker Sr High School, I got an opportunity to promote positive student attitudes toward Biochemistry. This has enabled more than two hundred students major and succeed as Biochemistry enthusiasts.
