I hold a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from Touro University Nevada and a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California. My undergraduate studies include a Bachelor of Science in Combined Major Sciences from the University of British Columbia, complemented by Emergency Medical Responder certification from the Justice Institute of British Columbia.

Certifications:

I am certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) and have training in ultrasound-guided procedures such as central venous catheter placement, with further procedural certifications pending.

Teaching and Tutoring Experience:

My teaching experience spans formal and informal settings, including private science tutoring at North Vancouver Tutor Doctor Company, where I taught subjects such as physics, chemistry, and calculus up to the second-year university level. I also co-founded and led the UBC Physics Circle Program, mentoring students for physics competitions and managing weekly problem-solving sessions.

In addition, I served as a Simulation Lab Leader during my residency, training residents in medical procedures like intubation, arterial line placement, and thoracentesis. I’ve also delivered lectures on medical topics, including women’s health and global health education, with audiences ranging from students to international communities.
