"My name is Miguel and I have 15 years of high school teaching experience. My best subjects are Accounting, Marketing, and Introduction to Business. My undergraduate work focused on accounting. After my undergraduate work, I received my Masters in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth. I would be most successful working with high school students, 1st or 2nd year college students, or adults wanting to learn the basics of accounting. I believe my experience will help students understand expectations of those programs as they continue their educational journey.

I also served as a DECA advisor for 7 years and worked with numerous national qualifiers. These projects involved students working with real businesses in order to complete a research paper that offered solutions to the business. This highlights my ability to bridge the gap between educational settings and the real world.

I have also coached high school basketball for 10 years. I bring this coaching experience into the classroom as I champion students to reach their potential, enjoy their experience, and practice self-awareness.
