"I’m a first-generation medical student with a strong foundation in biology, psychology, and test-taking strategy, and I genuinely love helping students feel the moment when a concept finally clicks. Before starting medical school, I earned my undergraduate degree in Animal Science with a focus on genetics, physiology, and developmental biology, coursework that continues to give me a well-rounded perspective on human biology as well. During my pre-med training, I scored in the top percentile on the MCAT, with particular strengths in the Biological and Psychological Foundations sections. These experiences taught me not just how to understand complex material, but how to explain it in ways that stick.

I’ve been tutoring and teaching students for over 4 years in both one-on-one and small-group settings. I’ve worked with learners ranging from middle school to college-level, typically ages 12 to 22, supporting subjects including introductory biology, anatomy, physiology, psychology, and MCAT preparation. My tutoring style focuses on active learning—meaning you’ll never just listen to me talk. I use question-driven discussions, visual analogies, spaced repetition tips, and real-world clinical links to make information feel relevant rather than abstract. Students I work with often tell me that science stops feeling like memorization and starts feeling like storytelling, and that’s exactly the goal.

I believe confidence in academics comes from clarity, not perfection. My sessions emphasize understanding over speed, and curiosity over pressure, because those are the skills that matter most long-term. Whether you’re mastering your first biology course or preparing for a high-stakes exam, I’m here to help you build both your knowledge and your trust in your own ability to think critically. Science is daunting—but it doesn’t have to be confusing." less...
