"I am a graduate of CUNY Lehman College. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics with a double minor in French and Japanese Culture. After receiving my degree, I had the opportunity to travel and live in Japan, South Korea, and the Philippines. I taught English at Technical High School in Tokyo to prepare Japanese youth for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, and catered to students from all levels (kindergarten to adults) in a private institute in Daejeon, Korea, to help improve their conversational English. In my experience, helping struggling students prepare for the EIKEN (an English Proficiency Standardized Test), we always seem to have the most fun prepping for the interview stage of the exams. While I can tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Spanish, French, History, and Linguistics. My passion and discipline for learning foreign languages were the driving forces I was able to achieve fluency in some of the languages I took the effort to learn to this day. These are the same core values I also want to instill in all of my students. By inspiring them to achieve their goals and reminding them of the importance of discipline and consistency, success is sure to follow.
