My journey in academia began at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where I earned my Bachelor's degree with highest honors and highest distinction. My rigorous coursework and dedication to my studies have provided me with a strong foundational knowledge in the life sciences, which I am now building upon through my doctoral research.

My tutoring experience spans a range of ages and subjects, from elementary school through college. During my time at UNC, I served as a peer tutor for three years, where I had the privilege of helping undergraduate students navigate challenging biology courses.
