"Hi folks! I am Dr. Julian, an expert in the humanities, social sciences, and language arts.

I come from a background of teaching at both universities and international schools. However, I truly believe in high-quality, student-centered, creative education, and I have found that this is more possible when working directly with students and parents.

I teach a fairly wide range within the aforementioned areas. I usually work with older teens and university students, and have been the research and writing coach for many in the college years or college preparatory years. I also teach three AP subjects: World History, English Language, and Psychology. For families who want to work with me long-term, it's possible to start wherever your student is at and grow into these AP courses naturally when they are ready.

I sometimes work with younger students as well - if they are in the "gifted," "higly sensitive," or "highly creative" category. I come out of that experience myself, and it's part of why I became a psychologist and educator, so I have a special place in my heart for such kids." less...
