I’ve taught high school and college including American and foreign students. My subjects have included Literature, Composition, ESL, Public Speaking and Communication.

I am certified with the DOE, have a BA in English and Theatre from Hunter and an MA in Speech Communication from the University of Minnesota, I enjoy variety and helping students use their gifts and individual personalities in their work.

I want us to get to know each other so that you will feel confident in the subjects we work on. I try to give my students questions they can ask themselves to make their work approachable. Your critical thinking is important and will help you feel confident. We will use your everyday world so that the subject doesn’t feel strange to you.
