"I'm a retired physics, chemistry and math teacher that taught over 34 years with the last 22 at Hinsdale South High School in Darien, Illinois. I have worked with all different age groups in high school teaching physics mostly and I taught summer school algebra I, algebra 2 and chemistry for over ten years at South. I was a certified tutor in college working with veterans and college physics students and I have taught Physics , Chemistry and College Algebra for over twenty-five years for College of DuPage, Joliet Junior College and Carl Sandburg Junior College. Since I retired in June I have tutored about thirteen different students in algebra, college algebra, geometry, chemistry and physics.My youngest student has been a seventh grade prodigy and the oldest being a single mom going back to school for her nursing degree.

My wife and I are both now retired and have moved permanently to our dream land in the UP. I have decided to start tutoring again as I miss the student contact and the pride that comes from helping someone do something they could not do before." less...
