"With a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a minor in Education from Norfolk State University, I bring over a decade of classroom experience rooted in both content mastery and compassionate teaching. I began my career at the alternative school in Suffolk, Virginia, where I taught for 10 years, working closely with students who required creative strategies and individualized support to succeed. Since 2016, I have served as a science educator, teaching Biology, Ecology, and Anatomy & Physiology. r seven years, leading with a focus on collaboration, instructional excellence, and student growth. I was honored to be named Rookie Teacher of the Year early in my career and nominated for Teacher of the Year in 2021, both acknowledgments of my commitment to student success.
