"I hold a bachelor's degree in education, which I earned after attending Roane State Community College for two years and completing my degree at Lincoln Memorial University. My initial certification focused on early childhood education (K–5, all subjects), but I later expanded my credentials to include middle grades mathematics. I am now fully certified to teach any level of math from kindergarten through 12th grade.

I began tutoring during my freshman year of college, initially focusing on probability and statistics, and have been involved in teaching or tutoring ever since. Now in my seventh year as a full-time teacher, I specialize in all areas of mathematics, with a particular passion for test preparation and strategy. My teaching approach is rooted in a "back to basics" philosophy—breaking problems down into simple, manageable steps and focusing on the foundational knowledge needed for each one.
