I earned my Medical Billing and Coding Diploma in 2013, graduating as class Valedictorian, and I obtained my Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification the same year. With multiple AAPC certifications and years of hands-on experience, I have developed an in-depth understanding of medical coding, billing, and revenue cycle management.

As an AAPC Approved Instructor since 2022, I currently serve as an Adjunct Instructor at a technical college in Orlando, FL, where I teach Medical Billing and Coding. I also own L.A. Burgess, a revenue cycle management company, where I work closely with healthcare providers to optimize their coding and billing processes. This real-world experience allows me to provide practical, up-to-date insights to my students.
