"I am a licensed k-6 educator with more than twenty years of experience in the field of education. I presently teach 6 grade social studies. I received a master's degree in 2013 from Bethel University in K-12 education and a graduate certificate in special education from Walden University in special education K-12 in 2015. I have also worked many years in the public school system as a title I assistant, substitute teacher and after- school tutor with both Above Academics and the Star tutoring program.

I provide one-on-one student- teacher interaction, hands-on activities, and higher order thinking skills that meet and exceed student's grade level based on the Tennessee academic pacing guides, and the new common core standards.
