"I am a Massachusetts certified Spanish teacher with experience teaching in public and private school, in summer programs, and online tutoring. I like to use a method called Total Physical Response Storytelling which uses humor, repetition, movement (yes, you CAN do this online) and active student participation. This method builds verbal vocabulary and conversational skills. I cater to the needs of each individual student.

I have experience tutoring students who are seeking help in their high school and college Spanish classes, adults seeking to build their conversational skills, and adults seeking to improve Spanish to communicate at work. My students enjoy my humor, engaging activities and the success they achieve after working with me.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish Language Literature and a Master's Degree in Educational Psychology. During college, I spent a semester in Spain and as an adult I lived for years in Mexico. My home town is largely Puerto Rican. I speak a dialect and accent that blends Puerto Rican and Mexican Spanish. I am also trained Spanish-English community interpreter.
