"My name is Keziah and I’m a passionate math tutor dedicated to helping students gain confidence and truly understand what they’re learning. I’m currently pursuing a Health Science major with a Chemistry minor at Howard University, where I’ve built a strong background in math and science. I enjoy working with students of all ages and have a particular love for showing that math doesn’t have to be intimidating, it can be clear, logical, and even enjoyable with the right approach.

I specialize in elementary through 6th grade math, pre-algebra, and algebra I, helping students strengthen foundational skills, master key concepts, and develop effective problem solving habits. My teaching style is patient, interactive, and tailored to each student’s learning pace. I use step by step explanations, hands on examples, and plenty of practice to ensure full understanding. Whether a student is struggling with the basics or looking to get ahead, I make sure every session builds both skill and confidence.

My goal is to create a learning environment that encourages growth and celebrates progress. I offer a free two hour consultation session for new students to assess strengths, challenges, and learning goals before beginning regular tutoring. I also ask for at least 12 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
