"Cynthia L. received her Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Mathematics/Education and a minor in Business Administration from RI College, and her Master of Education degree from University of South Florida. She worked with the FL Department of Transportation as a District Training Manager in Miami, Florida. She became interested in life-long learning and Home Education through her continued studies in the field of Adult Education.

Ms. L. subsequently began Home Educating her children in 1995. With over 15 years experience in the profession of Education and Training (PK -12), Ms. L. has gained an in-depth knowledge of learning development strategies and learning styles. She has tutored for Educational groups such as Classical Conversations (Classical Education) and Class-Source (Home Education Programming).

As a committed Life-Long Learner and Home Educator in her community, Ms. L. has experience in coordinating, designing and implementing IEP goals in reading, language arts, math, science, and social studies. She has developed lesson plans and instructed students in various subjects. She has helped students develop the life skills necessary to be a productive member of society.

Ms. L.'s tutoring background has included tutoring younger children with learning disabilities as well as older students needing support in their educational motivation and plan.
