"Hello! My name is Tamara, and I am a certified K–6 and Secondary English Language Arts teacher with over eight years of classroom and instructional leadership experience. I hold a Master of Arts in Teaching and am currently pursuing my Doctorate in Educational Leadership. Throughout my career, I have taught elementary and middle school students, coached teachers, and served as an instructional leader.

I specialize in supporting students with reading, writing, math, English, history, and social studies at the elementary through high school levels. I also provide test preparation for ACT, Praxis, and general study skills, as well as guidance with essay writing, college prep, and literacy development. Beyond academics, I bring a creative dimension to my tutoring by integrating poetry and creative writing, areas in which I have extensive experience as a club coordinator and mentor. These opportunities have allowed me to help students strengthen literacy, discover their voices, and gain confidence as both writers and performers.
