"Hi, I’m William, a summa cum laude graduate with a B.S. in Chemistry and a minor in Psychology. My own path wasn’t effortless, I had to experiment with every study trick in the book before I found strategies that really clicked. The first part of every semester felt like a fight for survival. So that trial-and-error journey is what drives my tutoring today: I know firsthand how frustrating “mystery-points” and dense lecture slides can feel, and I’m passionate about translating them into clear, bite-sized ideas that stick.

While completing my degree I taught Organic Chemistry I & II laboratory, guiding nearly 100 undergraduates through techniques such as reflux setups, column chromatography, and spectroscopic analysis. I also ran a companion lecture recitation section for about 80 students, turning multistep mechanisms and synthesis into interactive white-board stories and holding weekly office hours for targeted one-on-one coaching. Many of those students were second-year STEM majors or pre-meds who felt overwhelmed by fast-paced content, watching them raise exam scores by a full letter grade gave me a lot of personal fulfillment and me realize that teaching was my passion. I’m currently pursuing my Ph.D to hopefully turn my passion into my profession.
