"Hello! My name is Carson, and I'm passionate about helping students unlock their academic potential. As a graduate of the University of Chicago with honors, I have firsthand experience navigating tough academic environments. Outside of academics, my student-athlete experience playing baseball in college and working in investment banking has equipped me with excellent problem-solving skills and a keen understanding of effective learning strategies.

Currently, my main focus is on ACT and SAT test preparation. I improved my own ACT score from a 31 to a 36 and took my SAT score from 1400 to 1580. These score increases cost me hundreds of hours of time perfecting my study methods and I'm here to make sure you don't spend nearly that much time on these tests. I've mastered all sections of both tests and have proven results in SAT Math, SAT Reading, SAT Writing (SAT Verbal), ACT English, ACT Math, ACT Reading, and ACT Science.

After leaving my job in investment banking a few years ago, I became the Head ACT Coach at Boosted Brains, a boutique test preparation company. Overall, I've worked with over a thousand students on the ACT and SAT. The students who are willing to put in work both in our lessons and outside of our lessons have seen some incredible score improvement (up to 8 points on the ACT).

Along with standardized test preparation, I offer college counseling and college consulting. I earned admission into multiple top 5 universities and understand the competitive nature of college admissions. I've developed techniques to enhance students' applications and present their achievements in the most compelling light. I've guided high school students through every step of the application process, from choosing the right colleges to crafting compelling essays and preparing for interviews.
