"I'm Guy, I'm a civil engineering (structural) EI specializing in the design of cold-formed steel framing and cladding. I have a bachelor's in civil engineering, minoring in secondary education. I have experience with test-prep, alongside all STEM courses up to the level of a college freshman. I also tutor for grammar and writing composition.

My methodology changes depending on the student and subject, but I have two modes: I personally favor a concept-first approach where we get into the background and understanding of a concept. However, it's often really effective to drill exercises repeatedly instead, since with tutoring most students should have already heard the background. Either way, I can do both and am quick to switch approach. The main goal is building confidence and comfort however is best for you.
