I served in the Air Force for 5 years before getting my BAE in Secondary Education. I'm certified to teach grades 6-12 mathematics in my state. I worked as a public high school teacher for 2 years before I transitioned to online tutoring! I specialize in everything from Algebra to Calculus, with special focus on what you need to graduate high school and start higher education.

I left teaching because I didn't have enough time and energy for each of my students. When you are my student, I care about your success and your future. I love helping people achieve their goals, and I was spread too thin when I had nearly 200 students each day.

I use "I Do, We Do, You Do" to guide students through the math. I Do examples, We Do practice problems together, and then You Do the problems on your own. We move through these stages together, and by the end, you should be able to recreate the results on your own!

My strategy works when you bring homework you need help with, or when you want to learn Algebra 1 from the very beginning. One of my biggest strengths is how flexible and creative I can be - it means I will always try to find ways to accommodate you and your needs. I try to make my lessons fun and relevant to YOU, based on your interests and career goals!
