"Hi, I’m Tina, a current student at Vanderbilt University. I have several years of experience mentoring high school students one-on-one through the college admissions process, including essay writing, application strategy, and interview preparation. I’ve worked with students from ages 15–18 in both volunteer and paid settings, guiding them to strengthen their personal statements and highlight their strengths effectively.

Many of the students I’ve supported have gone on to earn admission, often with full-ride scholarships, to selective universities such as Yale, NYU, Columbia, Williams, and Tufts. My tutoring approach is individualized: I help each student find their authentic voice, refine their essays through detailed feedback, and organize application materials in a clear, compelling way.
