"With a strong foundation in biology and education, I bring a wealth of experience and passion to my role as a tutor. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Biology, complemented by undergraduate research experience, and a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction. As a certificated teacher, I have spent the past five years teaching both years of IB Higher Level (HL) Biology, as well as freshman biology and AVID. My students consistently excel, achieving a 100% pass rate on the IB Biology exam.

Before entering the classroom, I worked as a biologist on construction projects, applying my expertise to real-world environmental challenges. This professional experience enriches my teaching, allowing me to connect biological concepts to practical applications. Additionally, I am well-versed in guiding students through the Internal Assessment (IA) process for IB Biology. Teaching IB biology has also made it very easy to tutor AP biology as well.
