"Hi, I'm Ryan! I have been gaining experience in industry for the last six years but excited to return to tutoring!

I graduated summa cum laude from the University of Colorado Boulder with above a 3.9 GPA in both my Undergraduate and Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering. In high school, I received a perfect 36 score on the ACT twice and graduated as Valedictorian.

I have 5+ years of experience tutoring high school and college students in subjects ranging from Algebra 1 to Differential Equations, physics, coding (C/C++, Fortran, MATLAB, Python), and test prep. I have the most experience in 1-on-1 tutoring but can also provide group tutoring. During college, I was also course assistant for several aerospace engineering courses.

I focus on first understanding how the student learns and how to connect new concepts to what they already know. I present the material in digestible portions and make sure the student is confident before progressing. Self-efficacy is half the battle, and I do my best to build up strong study habits to promote the ability to self-teach difficult concepts.
