"I'm currently a full time 737 simulator instructor for a major airline as well as a 20 year retired flight and simulator instructor pilot for a major aircraft manufacturer and retired Air Force pilot with 25 years active duty and reserve. I have over 11000 hrs flight time in 16 different aircraft ranging from the Cessna 152 to the Boeing 747 and C-17 and am fortunate to have a career I really enjoy. I also previously taught biology chemistry and US history at my local school district as well as specialty courses on aeronautics. I work part time as a high school varsity basketball and football official and tutor online specializing in OAR, ASVAB and AFOQT test prep with concentration in the math, mechanics and aviation sections. I have been tutoring for over 20 years and really enjoy the opportunity to share what I have learned with others. I have former students in all service branches from special operations to pilots.

I graduated from BYU with a BS in zoology (premed), and have an MS in Information Management from Webster University, an MS in Aeronautical Science and Aviation Safety from Embry-Riddle and am one class short of an MS in Biology Instruction from Clemson. I have a certificate in Weather Forecasting from Penn State and just completed a college level algebra review from Illinois State. I have coached swimming at the high school and USA Swimming level and coached swim clinics with US Olympic coaches. My wife and I own a horse ranch near Spokane, Wa where we rescue and rehabilitate abused and neglected horses and raise chickens, cows and goats. I love where we live.

As you can tell I love to teach. I have a varied teaching style, based on the Socratic Method, that has proven very successful, but am also very flexible in that style.
