"Hi! My name is Julia and I am a recent graduate from UCLA with a Bachelor's degree in Financial Actuarial Math. I have a passion for helping others learn math and excel to higher levels of understanding and improved test scores. I have over a year of tutoring experience through Moneythink (a financial literacy group). I also have experience tutoring in Algebra 2, Quantitative Math, Calculus 1 and Calculus 2 throughout the past few months. I tutor all ages and grade levels with subjects ranging from Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus."
I have taken over a dozen math classes throughout my undergraduate career including Calculus 1, 2, and 3, Differential Equations, Linear Algebra, Probability Theory, and Financial Math. I am most comfortable tutoring subjects ranging up to Calculus, as well as Probability. I have also taken the actuarial exam FM (Financial Math) and am studying for exam P (probability).
