As a teacher, I try to make my lessons fun and engaging. You can learn while having fun. I have been a Spanish teacher since 2014 and I speak Spanish daily. My husband is Dominican and we spend our summers there. The one thing that really helps me to be a successful Spanish teacher is that I had to learn the language myself when I was a teenager. That means I understand common mistakes, and I also know a variety of strategies to help the language make sense.
