Tutoring Experience: I have 3+ years of one-on-one experience tutoring math and reading/language arts to students in elementary through high school. I have tutored K-12 students with learning challenges, and understand the patience and understanding this requires. I have also tutored adults in math and science.

I prefer to tutor math & science, as I find it most interesting, and this is where my educational background lies. I specialize in Algebra & anything related to Biology, Chemistry or or the medical field.

Educational Background: I have a Bachelors of Science degree in Biochemistry. I am very comfortable assisting students in learning about Biology (General, Molecular, Genetics), Chemistry (General, Analytic, Organic, Physical), Biochemistry, Physics, and Math up to Calculus II. In addition, I have completed courses in the medical sciences, such as Anatomy, Physiology, Pathophysiology, Medical Terminology, and Microbiology - all with a final grade of an A. I also completed a Medical Assisting (MA) course, and worked as a back office MA for over a year in a clinical healthcare setting.

I am punctual, detail-oriented and organized. I enjoy challenges, have ample patience, and love explaining concepts and helping others learn. In my undergraduate studies, I was the person on test day showing up early to go over the test materials and help other students with questions before the class. I truly love teaching others, and look forward to teaching you!
