"All students can learn, that's my motto. As a Special Educator of ninereen years and a tutor 7 of those years, I have had the privilege of teaching large groups, small groups, and one-one. Even though I am a Special Educator, I have taught students without disabilities in and out of the classroom, so I am very comfortable working with students of all levels.

I love teaching and watching a student reach an understanding of content that then propels them forward into the next phase of there learning. Nothing will touch my soul more than when I hear a student read for the first time or understand something they read for the first time. The confidence they express brings a smile to my face.

With my experience as a Special Educator, I have lots of ways and avenues to assess, find gaps, and work towards closing those gaps.

I absolutely love English Language Arts and Reading. I have experience with ACT prep programming. I also have experience and training in Scholastic's Read 180 program which allows students to work on fluency, phonics, and comprehension.
