"Empowering students through education and learning is one of life's greatest opportunity. Teaching informally as a registered nurse leader in an acute care setting for many years I have had the pleasure of changing minds and lives formally through academics for nearly five years. Beginning as an educator for Certified Nursing Assistants and working my way up to an Assistant Professor of Nursing; my skills of guidance, instruction, and motivation are high level. Areas of expertise include: all topics related to nursing and healthcare, nutrition, along with sciences/math of many disciplines.

My love and style of teaching promotes positivity, respect, and transparency to facilitate learning. I support students of all backgrounds and learning patterns by offering learning activities and delivery methods that are inclusive and diverse.
