"In 2016, I graduated from Barry University with a degree in biology. During my time there I was a teaching assistant for several classes in which I gained experience assisting others through tough situations. I always enjoyed my time and even volunteered when I could to teach younger students. I love teaching because not only do I enjoy the excitement that a student gets when I help them work through something challenging, but in the process, I often learn a lot myself.

I graduated with my Ph.D. from Florida Atlantic University in the Fall of 2024. Currently, I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow studying the brain at the University of Illinois.

I have spent a lot of the last 5 years of my life completely dedicating myself to the pursuit of higher education and humbling myself to a better understanding of the subjects I am most interested in. Though I have put the most effort into mastering the wide range of topics in the life sciences, I enjoy enriching my understanding through literature and philosophy. My years of scientific research have sharpened my skills to the point where I am now working with elite scientists in the neuroscience community. To be successful in this field assumes a deep understanding of the fundamental principles of biology, nature, and the universe.

I have come a long way and dedicated myself to become an avid writer. Being a biologist requires the ability to concisely and coherently portray ideas to avoid ambiguity. I have published multiple research articles in which much of my time was spent editing and rewriting to make them as aesthetically and logically appealing as possible. I pride myself on my ability to revise papers for others and offer sound advice on how to make a piece better.
