"I am an experienced Psychology tutor and educator with over 20 years of teaching experience, including 15 years in the Social Science department. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Pepperdine University and hold two California teaching credentials from the University of Redlands, one in Secondary Social Science and one in Elementary Education. In addition, I have a Master’s degree in Educational Technology, which allows me to integrate effective digital tools, organization strategies, and research-based instructional practices into both tutoring and classroom instruction.

I developed and brought the Advanced Placement Psychology course to my school and have taught AP Psychology continuously since 2016, with a consistently strong AP exam pass rate. I specialize in helping students master core psychological concepts, research methods, and terminology while also preparing them for AP Psychology multiple-choice questions and FRQs. In addition to AP Psychology, I currently teach a dual enrollment psychology course in partnership with California State University, giving me extensive experience working with college-level psychology curriculum and supporting students transitioning from high school to college academics.
