"What we do here usually falls into two categories:

1. Solve past problems, looking for approaches, patterns, and strategy.

2. Help with courses and problems taken at places like AoPS, RSM, or AlphaStar. These places have great material, but often move too fast for many students. A little help can go a long way.

Specifically, I am NOT teaching here AoPS material. I love it, recommend it, and am teaching it for the last 8 years in their centers in the Bay -Area. But I do NOT teach it here.

As a side comment, I also taught Linear Algebra, Multivariable Calculus, and CS in College and HS. I taught AP-CS-A, and AP-Calc-BC in HS for 8 years as well.

Background: I've worked for many years in the High-tech industry and then as a professor (Dean of Engineering). After retiring, I taught (8 years) in a local High School, and enjoyed seeing the growth of my students. Wrote a book on computer-competitions. These days, I only teach math and competitions at AoPS (I highly recommend them!), and privately for USCO and AMC/AIME.
