I have been involved in American Sign Language and the Deaf community for over 14 years. Filled with passion for sign language, the deaf community and for teaching, I want to use my experience to help you with your goals! If you are interested in learning basic American Sign Language, improving your skills, assistance with class projects/homework, fingerspelling practice/tips, want to gain more confidence in communication, or parents looking for a tutor in full sign language for Deaf children, please don’t hesitate to contact me!

My Experience:

- I have been fluent in American Sign Language for 14 years

- Since 2011, I have been teaching as a full time volunteer in the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing community

- I am TEFL/TESOL certified (150-Hour Master Course / Grade: A)

- I have taught unpaid ASL classes for students under the age of 16 years old (in person/groups of 6-8 students)

- One-on-one tutoring to students with no ASL experience, or basic knowledge of the language

- 3 years of experience as an Elementary school teacher’s aid
