"Hi! My name is Isabela. I’ve been a private tutor for the past 7 years and a homeschool teacher for the last 2. I work with students in a variety of subjects, including mathematics (from Algebra 1 through college-level trigonometry), Italian, Spanish, and SAT/ACT test prep.

I studied Political Science at Florida Atlantic University with minors in Italian and French Studies. I began tutoring in-person, but after the pandemic I shifted fully online to better serve students wherever they are. Over the years, I’ve worked with learners ranging from middle schoolers to adults in their 70s. I’ve also taught Italian in-person to adult students at a language learning center. I was also a substitute teacher for my local school district and taught mostly math classes throughout that time.

My favorite subjects to teach are math and Italian. In my sessions, I use Zoom’s screen-sharing and annotation tools to make learning interactive and ensure my students and I are always on the same page." less...
