"I've been a tutor for around 6 years to both middle schoolers and high schoolers seeking academic excellence and understanding. I'm also proud to have been a tutor to both of my younger brothers, both scoring high scores on the ACT and SATs and entering their dream Ivy League schools. I scored full scores on both the ACT and SAT when applying for colleges so I am very familiar with both of those tests. My teaching style is mainly one on one as I believe it is the best way for students to absorb and understand the information put in front of them.

My educational background is that I graduated from the Horace Mann School in New York City for high school before graduating from SUNY Westchester in Valhalla, NY for college and earning a degree in English. There, I majored in English and wrote many essays in the fields of science fiction, gothic literature and historical fiction. Again I am well versed in both the ACTs and SATs because I managed to score a full score on both of them. This is not a result solely achievable with myself, it can be applied to others with an academic mind.

I have tutored many students and peers over the years beginning in high school. I helped with a variety of subjects including but not limited to English, Math, Science and History. However, I specialize in tutoring English and Math to students. I tutor mainly one-to-one because that is the perfect way for a tutor to focus on tutoring a student. Any more people and it may distract from the original goal of helping a student achieve high scores in their tests or classes. My former relevant tutoring experience is not limited to within schools, I've knocked on doors and asked if people needed a tutor.
