"I’m passionate about helping students succeed in the health sciences and beyond. With over 25 years of teaching experience at the community college level, I’ve had the privilege of guiding countless students on their journey into healthcare careers. I hold a Master’s degree in Health Care Administration and Education and am a licensed and certified Physician Assistant with a background in emergency medicine and urgent care.

Over the years, I’ve taught numerous classes of EMTs and paramedics as a certified EMS educator, and I currently teach health sciences in a medical assistant program. My approach to teaching is highly interactive and student-focused — I believe that learning works best when students are active participants in their own education. My role is to serve as a guide and facilitator, creating a supportive environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, think critically, and apply what they learn to real-world situations.
