"I have been tutoring a variety of STEM subjects since I was in high school, which gives me a total of 8 years of teaching experience. Most recently I was a tutor for IDTech, teaching Python, Java, and math. Over my tutoring tenure I have taught over a thousand hours and hundreds of clients.

I absolutely love teaching, and few things give me more satisfaction than seeing a student understanding a new topic, especially one they are invested in. In addition to standard tutoring approaches (i.e. intermittent comprehension questions, customized homework based on strengths and weaknesses, effective review and summary of material), I am at my best when I can explore deeper subject matter based on the students interests and am good at bringing out each students' love for the subject.

I have tutored math for nearly eight years now, starting with middle school competitive math tutoring, and have tutored many areas of math, from elementary school to college, including clients who want to learn math for school, for competition, or just for fun. As for my personal math skills, I have competed in math since elementary school. I continue to do math on a daily basis as I conduct research on Algebraic Geometry and Combinatorics for UC Davis.

I have tutored Computer Science for three years, and have taught Python, Java, C, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence. Python is my strongest subject as I have been writing Python code for almost ten years. I use it on a daily basis as a programmer.

Outside of tutoring, I am a programmer with a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science from UC Davis, algebra and combinatorics researcher, music lover, and owner of two lovely cats.
