"Hello, future friends! My name is Carlos, and I've been a tutor for 3+ years tutoring college level anatomy & physiology, chemistry and helping students with test prep at the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, IL. I truly enjoy helping others reach their full potential, and tutoring gives me a platform to do that on an academic level. Since middle school, I've enjoyed helping my peers pass their tests and classes by sharing my knowledge that can help them. Now, my plan is to keep that passion alive by helping out students beyond campus grounds. I'm working to become a physician assistant, so tutoring helps me stay current with the material that I can then use when I practice medicine. My ultimate goal is to keep my community healthy to allow future generations to prosper.

I tutor a truly diverse group of students in the Western suburbs. Starting in 2023, I've worked with students from countless backgrounds. I have experience breaking down subjects into easier terms to understand. I've worked with students with accommodations to people who want a change in career. I've worked primarily with young adults and used various teaching methods that are tailored for each student to create the most effective lesson. Students often comment how effective my methods are.

I've grew up in the Western Chicago suburbs my whole life. I grew up in Warrenville, graduated from Wheaton Warrenville South High school, graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a Bachelor's degree in biological sciences with pre-med. I decided to purse a career as a physician assistant after shadowing different providers while working at Rush Copley Medical Center. I've always been a helper, so my professor recommended me to tutor since I was basically tutoring my peers.
