"I have been an academic tutor with an academic center since May 2019. The academic center provides great training and I have definitely grown as a tutor throughout the years. The most effective approach I have implemented includes reviewing material, working though challenging concepts, and summarizing the information of the session. My approach is individualized for each student and I continuously remind the student to stop me if my explanation is not clear.

I received an A- in both A&P I/II. This was not an easy accomplishment and I hope to aid someone in feeling confident with this material because it is very important to have a good base for future classes. I am still actively tutoring the same subject in the college and I am currently applying the material I have learned from this class in my current studies. A&P is a challenging subject but I believe every student can master the concepts! I have used many resources throughout my college career and I have observed different tutoring styles which has helped me tailor my sessions to each student.
