"Learning can be fun. When we go to kindergarten we are excited and anxious to learn. Sometimes this attitude changes in a traditional education setting. I have a love of learning ... maybe I can help you remember yours.

My name is Randi and I welcome the opportunity to work with you.

I too have experienced difficulty learning from traditional settings.

I got my GED in 1976 after having difficulty in the traditional education setting.

I spent quite a number of years learning about life.

I returned to school at Black Hawk College where I received an AA & an AS in Liberal Arts ... after finding a love for learning.

I continued on to Western Illinois University and received a BA in Liberal Arts with a minor in Psychology.

I received a Master's of Science in Education with an emphasis in adult education because I wanted to help individuals who are experiencing difficulty with learning or obtaining their education.

I do not believe anyone is stupid or lazy when it comes to learning ...

I have often said ... If an alien came to earth and tried to open a door if they had never learned to turn a door knob they could not do it. Not because they are stupid or lazy but because they just have not learned it yet.

I have obtained a lot of education. This does not make me wise and all knowing ... I met a man with an 8th grade education who was one of the most knowledgeable people I have ever met.

If you would like for me to be your tutor I will work with you ... I can not do it for you ...for in the end it is you who will do it.
