"My name is Cathleen and I have been a history teacher for more than 15 years and a lifelong lover of history. Teaching is my second career and true passion. After working as a writer and editor, I made the decision to follow my heart and become a teacher. I teach AP World, AP Euro and have taught AP US and AP Research & Seminar.

Although I have worked with a variety of age groups, I prefer working with high school and middle school students. However, I have an advanced degree and would be thrilled to work with college students as well. I excel at test prep and enjoy helping struggling students find a love of history, research and writing.
