"I am a graduate of American University’s School of International Service, where I studied global affairs, writing, and historical analysis at a high level. I have taken advanced coursework in U.S. history, world history, political development, and comparative systems, and I have extensive experience with academic writing, argumentation, and primary-source interpretation. I’ve also written published political and historical commentary for major publications in the DC sphere, which has strengthened my ability to explain complex events clearly, accurately, and in a way that students can easily understand.

I have been tutoring students since high school and have worked with more than seventy students one-on-one in AP U.S. History, AP World History, AP Government, and writing-heavy courses. I’ve taught in classroom, small-group, and individual settings, including through programs in DC Public Schools that serve under-resourced and multilingual students. Those experiences taught me how to adjust my approach to match different learning styles and confidence levels.
