"Hello! I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience and a future career in research. I received admirable SAT scores and excelled in Math throughout high school, especially Algebra. I also have a thorough understanding of the English language and grammar, writing many essays and other assignments also throughout high school. I received a score of 4 on AP Psychology, Biology, Language and Composition, as well as Literature and Composition exams throughout my sophomore-senior years of high school, granting me the honor of AP Scholar and valuable college credits because of the scores.
I have had experience helping classmates and friends for years, in all subjects in school, particularly Math and English, but also partially in related subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. I am patient, compassionate, and dedicated to the success of those who I help, open to finding different ways of explaining things and guiding someone to find the answer rather than just giving it to them. I love learning, and I recognize that it can present struggles big and small for others, so I maintain an open mind and judgment free zone so people feel comfortable to learn at their own pace, rather than feeling rushed or incapable. I hope to show everyone how to love learning like I do! I may not be perfect in my knowledge, and I may be rusty in some concepts, but with some refreshing I am confident I could be an effective tutor to those who could use my help!" less...
