I had so many amazing history teachers over my years of schooling. They really imparted a love of history on me. I have taken that love of history and shared that with my students over the years. My love of travel has helped me to gain a deeper understanding of history and a much richer perspective on the world.

I have tutored numerous students over the years. I really enjoy the ability to connect with students one-on-one and being able to individualize instruction. I have tutored both in-person and remotely. For remote tutoring, I will prepare materials in advance and be ready to maximize our time. I will utilize every minute of your tutoring session. I have taught just about every history course in my 21 years of teaching. I am really passionate about history and am constantly pushing myself to learn more about the world. I love to read and travel. These two passions help to expand my knowledge and perspective on history.

After visiting the Vatican in 2017, I gained a really deep appreciation for artwork. I have spent a lot of time over the last 5 years studying art history and visiting some amazing art museums. I love to learn more about the history and the people involved by studying the art of different time periods.
